There are lots of shelving and storage options that can effectively create useful storage space. A great solution to small storage space is to use height to store seldomly or seasonally used items. We can also find new homes for garden tools and other items that need to be accessed more frequently.
A great way to build shelving in a garage is with wood 2x4 construction and an OSB top, as pictured above. These materials are commonly available, lend themselves to a wide array of designs, and they are reasonably priced. If these materials are screwed together, which is our preferred method, a design can easily be changed down the road as your storage needs change.
